Warwickshire Mini Hockey Tournament
The Adders Juniors travelled to Rugby on Sunday for their third mini tournament with one U12 and U10 team and two U8 teams. It was a very early start for all concerned, but it didn’t dampen any one’s enthusiasm. Brother and sister Theo and Grace Wells joined us for their first tournaments and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The U8s fielded two teams with family siblings playing along side each other, Freddie and Alfie Wagstaff, Enid and Frederick Abbey and William and Sophia Sworowski. Despite playing on a postage stamp sized pitch thet all performed well. Adders ‘Reds’ played four games with one win, two draws and one lose. The Wagstaffs notched up thirteen goals between them with seven for Freddie and six for Alfie and Jag Kalsi scored his first ever Adders goal. The Adders ‘Yellows’ won three and draw one with William Sworowski scoring a massive fourteen goals and Lydia Brockwell bagging three. The three youngest members Grace Wells, Enid Abbey and Sophia Sworowski joined in and did their best.

A big thank-you for all the parental support on the day and coaches Yvonne, Dawn, Alison and Micky. Without them no of this would be achievable.
