Every year, our Chairman faces one of the toughest decisions of the season: choosing that one individual who truly embodies the spirit of our club. It’s not just about performance—it’s about passion, dedication, and the ability to inspire others. It’s about those who go the extra mile, who lift others up, and who make our club a better place for everyone.

But this decision doesn’t happen in isolation. It starts with you.

Think about the people around you. Is there someone who always gives more than expected? Someone who encourages others, brings energy to training, or quietly works behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly? Maybe it’s someone who made you feel welcome, helped you improve, or reminded you why you love being part of this club.

If someone comes to mind—don’t keep it to yourself.

Nominations are now open, and this is your chance to ensure those efforts don’t go unnoticed. Let’s shine a spotlight on the individuals who truly make a difference.

Nominations need to be in by the 31st March 2026

To submit your nomination, simply email chair@addershockey.com with:

1. Your name
2. The name of the person you are nominating
3. Why you believe they deserve to be recognised
4. Any additional supporting details (your “swing vote”)

Recognition matters. A few thoughtful words from you could make someone’s season—and remind them just how much they mean to the club.

So take a moment, reflect, and send in your nomination. Let’s celebrate the people who make our club such a fantastic place to be.
