Fresh Momentum for the Adders in 2025!

Fresh Momentum for the Adders in 2025!

Joe Kobrin12 Jan - 21:27

the forecast is finally looking more favourable.

The start of 2025 has been a challenging one for all our teams, with the weather disrupting training and matches across the board. However, the forecast is finally looking more favourable, and we’re excited to return to the pitch with renewed determination and focus. Here’s to better conditions and plenty of hockey in the coming weeks!

We would also like to share some important updates within the Club. Ali Raza has stepped down as Club Coach. Ali brought innovative ideas to training, and his fresh approach had a noticeable impact on the Men’s section in particular, inspiring players and coaches alike. His commitment and contributions to the Adders will not be forgotten, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to him as we wish him all the best for the future.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce that Martin Webb will be taking the lead on Men’s coaching, supported by Josh Wagg and a group of senior players. Martin’s unparalleled knowledge of the Club, combined with his wealth of experience at National League level and with England Masters, makes him the ideal leader to guide the Men’s section. What’s more, this transition is set to have a positive impact across the entire Club.

We’re particularly excited to see Martin, Dan, and other club coaches working closely together across the Men’s, Ladies’, Badgers, and Junior sections, fostering collaboration and continuity that will benefit everyone. Their combined expertise and passion for hockey will undoubtedly strengthen the Adders as a whole and create a thriving environment for players of all ages to develop and succeed.

Here’s to an exciting second half of the season—good luck to Martin, Dan, and the entire Adders family.
