Senior Training Kicks Off: Build Your Fitness and Get Ready for the Season!
Senior Training at Adders Hockey Club has officially begun, and numbers are steadily increasing. We invite all Senior players to join us for an early season start—perfect for getting fit and shaking off any cobwebs. With friendlies scheduled for September and the official season commencing in late September to early October, this is an ideal opportunity to prepare.

Junior and Badger Training:

• Start Date: Wednesday, 4th September 2024

Inter-Club Day:

• Date: Saturday, 7th September 2024
• 10:00 - 11:00: Under 8s & Under 10s
• 11:00 - 12:30: Under 12s & Badgers
• 13:00 - 15:30 (approx): Senior squads (Men’s and Ladies teams)

Senior players will participate in separate Men’s and Ladies’ teams, with games organized based on turnout. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in some friendly competition and sharpen your skills.
Our kit supplier Akuma will also be present on the day, with a range of kit and sizes for anyone looking to try before buying.
Participation Fees:

• Juniors and Badgers: £5 (includes food and drink post-hockey)
• Seniors: £8 / £5 (discounted match fee; food and drink not included)

Note: Senior players are encouraged to join the after-hockey social event at the White Horse. To keep costs down, there will be no food and drink provided for those playing from 13:00 onwards.

Seniors 1: Employed

• Match Fee: £11.00

Seniors 2: Concessionary

• Training: Free (included in subscription)

Students 1: In Further Education [19 years +]

• Annual Subscription: £65.00
• Match Fee: £9.00
• Training: Free (included in subscription)

Juniors 1: In Full-Time Education [Age 13-18] who play regularly for a Senior team on Saturdays

• Annual Subscription: £65.00
• Match Fee: £9.00
• Training: Free (included in subscription)

Badgers: In Full-Time Education [Age 13-18] who play regularly for a Badgers team on Saturdays

• Annual Subscription: £65.00
• Match Fee: £6.00

Juniors: [Age 5-18], (School Year Yr1 – Yr13) who only play Junior games or attend Junior Training

Important: Annual Subscriptions now include the annual membership fees to Atherstone Sports Club. We will issuing welcome pack emails and allocating subscriptions out during September and these will need to be paid by the end of October.

Awards Scheme Vouchers Now Available:

Great news for all Adders Hockey Club members that have accumulated awards points over the past 2 years!
We have now received the Akuma vouchers for the Awards Scheme. If you’ve earned award points, you can now redeem them for discount vouchers to use on the Akuma Shop.

To claim your voucher, simply contact the Treasurer at treasurer@addershockey.com. Once verified, you’ll be issued a voucher redemption number that can be used on purchases in the club shop.
