Atherstone Hockey Club Announces 2026 Annual General Meeting
Shape the Future of Atherstone Hockey Club at the 2026 AGM
Atherstone Hockey Club is pleased to announce that its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Monday 1st June 2026 at Atherstone Sports Club. Attendees are invited to arrive at 6:45pm, with the meeting commencing promptly at 7:00pm.
The AGM is an essential event in the club calendar, providing players, parents, volunteers, and supporters with the opportunity to hear important updates, review the 2025/26 season, and have a say in the direction of the club moving forward.
As part of the meeting, the club will review the agenda for the current AGM and the minutes of the previous meeting, both of which will be made available to attendees.
“This meeting is a key moment for everyone involved in the club to come together, reflect on the year, and plan ahead,” said Yvonne Davies, Club Secretary and Safeguarding Officer. “It’s your club, and this is your chance to be a part of its future.”
The AGM will also serve as an opportunity to elect or nominate committee members for the upcoming 2026/27 season. A variety of roles are available, from team captains and coaching coordinators to media officers and fundraising leads. The club is particularly keen to hear from individuals with skills in IT, media, sponsorship, or general volunteering.
Nominations can be submitted in advance via the web form or made at the meeting itself (with a proposer and seconder where possible). Nominations can also be sent to chair@addershockey.com

The AGM is open to all: players, parents, club supporters, and those interested in becoming more involved in local sport.
