Supporting awareness of NSPCC's 'Parents in Sport Week'

This week the Adders are proud to do our bit to support awareness of an important campaign being run by children's charity the NSPCC. The charity's 'Parents in Sport Week' is a national awareness raising campaign running from 4 - 10 October and aims to highlight the important role parents play in the bigger safeguarding picture of sport.

The campaign aims to help parents to be better informed and provide resources to ensure they understand how to make sure their children are participating in sports and within sports clubs in a safe environment.

Parents can get access to a host of resources by visiting thecpsu.org.uk/ParentsinSportWeek”CC and we'd encourage all parents to view this specially created 3 minute video here.

It's also a good moment to remind parents of the Adders Child Protection Policy which ensures we have the right practices in place to create a safe environment for juniors to get started in hockey with our club.
