To improve defending and tackling skills.Set up a rectangle using 4 cones, that is 25 yards long and 40 yards wide. Then position a goal in the middle of both ends. If no goals are available to use then different colour cones will be sufficient. 6 players are needed for this drill. 4 of these players will start inside the rectangle (pitch), in a 2v2 situation. The other 2 players will start on the outside of the pitch, 1 on each sideline. The players on the outside are passers and can move up and down the line to help the team in possession of the ball.
