This season the Club fielded a second Ladies side for the first time in its history. This young side, called the Vixens, played around a dozen fixtures and was managed by Lizzie Mill and Ladies skipper, Caz Tiernan. The Men's Badger's team also started to come good after a couple of seasons struggling for players. The younger members of the Club started to impress so much that a number of them found themselves also playing the odd game for the first team. Chris McKenna established himself in the first team by the end of the season and impressed with his pace and willingness to learn. Things are looking good for the youngsters next year! Meanwhile both the Men's and Ladies first teams found themselves competing in higher leagues following their successful 07-08 campaigns. It is fair to say that the Ladies coped better with the situation than the Men. the Men ended up being relegated, while the Ladies finished in a comfortable mid-table position.
