THANKS TO EMMA SNOWDON FOR SPOTTING THE DELIBERATE MISTAKE

Following a recount, and an email from our resident Ladies statistician, I am pleased to say that FOUR players have now achieved 100% for this season. Three Ladies players, Dawn Orton, Sally Oldham and Emma Snowdon and one Men's team player, Sam Nicholls.

Apologies for any confusion. I blame Microsoft Excel. Hopefully the information is now correct and up to date. But you may know different?

Ellie Longmore and Chelsea Caton missed only one of the Ladies games and that's a great achievement as well. Meanwhile Mick Thomas missed only one of the Fathoms games, but still ended up with the most appearances for the team.

Clearly the key to success is a core group of players. The Ladies in their promotion season had over 50% of their players playing in over 50% of the games. While the Men's teams had too many players who played too few times. That has to change if the Men's section of the Club is hoping to go places!

On the positive side, post Christmas saw the Fathoms turning out with a large squad of younger players every week. Let's hope that they go on to show this commitment next season as they will also be a little bit stronger and have even more pitch time under their belts!
