Word and PDF can be downloaded here.

1.    Apologies – Caroline Tiernan

2.    Minutes of last meeting of 10th November 2009 accepted.

3.    Chairs Report

a.    Youth Training is up and going on Monday evenings. Meet time is 17.15 at Mancetter Post Office where a mini bus will collect people and take them to Etone in Nuneaton for the training from 17.45 to 18.30. The session is approximately targeted at secondary aged pupils. The training session and mini bus is completely FREE as it is all funded. As part of the funding we have also got some new sticks, balls and bags for the juniors. Please spread the news of this training session as we would like to have more youths there.

b.     Goals – The Hockey Goals that we own are currently being stored in the Cricket Score Box at the main club. Mike Brookes had confirmed this was O.K but the cricket club are starting to make noises about the space they are taking up. The decision was made to leave them where they are now but that we need to find an alternative ready for the start of the cricket season. Mr.Wilmott from the School will be contacted to see if we can store the goals at the school.

4.    Treasurer's Report

a.     The Club is financially sound

b.     We have taken a bit of a hit with pitch cancellations. This is down to three factors, the loss of player match fees on the day, the £25.00 pitch cancellation fee and the financial fine we get from the League.

c.    Can the Captains of the Fathoms and Ladies teams stipulate what the extra amounts of income are on the match sheets as it is not always easy to work out why and for what the money has been received?

d.    Annual subs – Majority of the first team have paid now and there are a few Fathoms outstanding which Mike now has a list of. The Ladies are also starting to come in too.

e.    Mick will send to Jagger a list of all the people who have played a game so far, from all 3 teams. Jagger will then correlate this against a master list to see who owes what for annual subs.

f.      Linking in with point c) above can the Captains explain what all part payments are for on their team sheets please so that Jagger can appropriate the money against the right income. This will make accounting for everything so much easier.

5.    Other Officers Reports

a.    Secretary - Nothing

b.    Mens – Negus will talk to Guy Millington about the feasibility of us playing in a Second Team league next season as we will have a very young team next season.

c.    Fathoms – Having a very good run, no problems with fielding a side. Playing well and the youngsters are improving all the time. Good job Mike.

d.    Ladies – Scores are improving, they have a good Goalie and there is a more consistent turnout.

e.    Ladies Vixens – Jill will communicate with Liz to check on progress.

f.     Juniors – Ant needs to organise some games if he can. If he is unable to can he report back to Jill please.

g.    Mick – Mick has created a “Captains Check List” which he will circulate for input.

6.    Christmas Do –

                                               i.   We have 24 who have signed up so far. We will be doing a raffle so please bring along prizes.

7.    AOB -

a.     Mike will provide Jagger with 2 First Aid kits for the Mens team plus some Ice Packs for all teams.

b.     We could do with a Fixtures Secretary. Jagger will finish off all Fixture Secretary duties for this season but we need a volunteer to organise games for next season.

c.     Mike will talk to Caroline about a Fathoms v Ladies game before Christmas

d.     ATCC, our main club, is not doing well at all financially and so the raffle that is going round currently needs your desperate support. Please see your captains or Negus to buy tickets.
